Mushrooms with Ginger
Ingredients:
- 300 g Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Onions (chopped)
- 3/4 cup Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 cup green peas (optiona;)
- 2 tbs Ginger (chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Corriander (ground)
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp green chillies (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Corriander leaves for garnish
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Procedure:
Clean and chop the mushrooms. Heat some oil in the pan, add the cumin seeds. Add the chopped onions and fry until brown. Add the chopped ginger, chillis, corriander powder and turmeric. Add tomatoes and chillipower and cook until the oil seperates from the masala. Add the mushrooms and, if desired, peas and cover. Cook for 10 mins. Add Garam Masala. Remove the lid and cook for 5 more minutes. Garnish with the chopped corriander leaves.
