APPLE CAKE (Norwegian)

Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Then add the flour, vanilla and baking powder. The batter should be thick. Coat the aple slices with the cinnamon sugar mix and arrange on the top. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar mix on top. Bake for 20 - 25 mins at 175 C / 350 F (test with tooth pick).
